Tie a wet strip of paper towel to a reed or a thin branch ..

And dip it in your lure jar.

I use this method alot.

There was a write up in a magazine about Paul Grimshaw and his white paper towels behind castor mounds. It worked good but so did his liquid castor beaver lure.
