what are your most common cutting tasks ?
task typically dictates blade shape

I don't have one but if I was buying one it would be their Kephart , it is a very versatile blade shape.

The first and last in the picture are LT Wrights (not Bark Rivers) I have a few, couple things to remember about Bark river knives. 1st, they are convex ground blades and availability to models is restricted to which ever model they are releasing at the moment or the second had market. I would find a style of your liking and a steel that would fit your needs.

I have their golok. Handy on the beaver line. I wish they would make another run of that blade, I'd like to have one.

Thank you Grumley for looking that model up. Green County Pete, it does feel the hand nicely, and I get very long sweeps with the blade when skinning moose and bear, which is what you want when skinning large animals. I can't stand scalpel size blades and and surgical size cuts when skinning if you're not planning on saving the hide.
