Learned about this one today. .17 velociraptor. Fn x28 necked down to .17 , ugh another two years and I'll have my lathe and can start building some.mess like this

17 hornet exceeds it in fps and is a standard cartridge now

Just like .17 rem fireball ect, brass . Both made and parent cartridge non existent now days.

if your buying brass you got a resizing die

The only issue with these smaller cartridges is “need”. I have to have something I need it for. Too small for larger predators and I ain’t got anything small to shoot. I bet our west where they got those prairie dogs and chucks this little round would be some fun shooting.

Yeah, but I don’t think that 17 is gonna get my hogs or coyotes unless up close. And I ain’t shooting nothing edible, lol.
