So anyone. Got tips for making these cheap brushes work a lil better ? There all the boat will order ( idk if we can get anything nicer but we got boxes worth)and they just don't seem to paint very well

heavy paint,,,,, Slop it on with protection for elsewhere,,,,,,,,,It is a couple hundred ft cameo.............

Trim the bristles that are nutty,,,ifn ya can

Those chip brushes are all I use....Your painting a steel work boat, not your bedroom, those are good enough....

Paint with the side of the brush , not the tips. If try aren't paying you to make art , to don't try to paint a masterpiece.

Machine shops etc, buy them by the case for cleaning chips off work/machines. Kinda looks like a paint brush, (LOL) so some places cheap out and buy them for paint.

Throw em in the trash and get good brushes

Company probably won't buy anything better. Those brushes will put paint down to prevent rust which is what the paint is for. Remember you're really doing surface preservation not paining. Sweep the cobwebs and dirt off and you're already ahead of most deck hands as far as finish quality.

Them things are terrible
