People are always asking me about native groundcovers, especially for shady areas. Wild ginger is one of the easiest to grow and it can adapt to a lot of different conditions. Super cool plant with an interesting seed dispersal method!

My son sold to a root buyer, I should of said that was when I lived in NY. I don't know what it was used for he dug a lot of different plants some he dried and sold others the plants to people who wanted to grow them. We grew Yellow and Pink Lady Slippers, Ginseng, Goldenseal and others. I enjoy the posts on wildcraft reminds me of a wonderful time in my life!
