I had my wife try it and she said my computer rejected it due to it being spam. I have no clue what that means or how to cure it. Right now my eyesight isn't good enough to see it anyhow. Big screen TV is okay, but it is not very clear to me, I have the second eye cataract surgery coming up soon, maybe then I will be able to read magazines and closed caption. I have to blow things up to 150% on the computer to be able to read the posts on this site. WTG Cubs, it gives the Phillies a little more breathing room.

Maybe Counsel was saving the bullpen for the next game, he probably felt the Cubs were not going to hit the Pirates Wonder Boy. Thompson does stuff like that.

The Phillies had to come from behind 3 times to beat the pesky Nationals.

I have ben a fan of baseball since the early 1960's At that time there where many great stars in the game and some of the best players ever to play the game had Hall of Fame careers . But in the negative side it was also a time of performance enhancing drugs and baseball became a slow boring game that often had payers that where not very good athletes Due o some changes in how the game is being conducted as far as the pitch clock and rules regarding pitching changes ad stolen base attempts the game is quickly going back to a game that is geared t the more talented athletic type of player Games are much faster paced and action packed And young teams that have players that are still learning how to refine their skills have a chance on any given game to win using their talent of speed and playing the old fashioned game of advancing the runner and hit and run and so forth There are a lot of up and coming teams that are just a player or 2 away from being good teams And with some of the rising stars taking the next step and having a few more young stars just bout to join the big leagues base ball is a suddenly exciting again

Yes I like the emerging style for the MLB also. Hit and run, run and hit, stealing bases along with power.

The Phillies swept the Nationals this weekend. Now we will see how they do against Texas. It seems unreal, but the Phillies have only played 3 games against teams with a winning record, all three were against the Braves and they lost two of them. So maybe their won/lost record is a bit deceiving.

Thanks to the Padres beating the Braves the Padres now have a winning record so the Phillies record against teams with a winning record is now 4 and 2..
