I want to say a big thank you to all the people that sold me skulls recently. I bought quite a few. A great deal more then in the past.
I received some really interesting one. There were a few that were not exactly what I was wanting, broken bone and busted teeth were the bad things most seen. Some were overly young kittens and puppies which tend to fall apart with my method. Not laying blame on anyone but myself there. I did not let the sellers know my needs at the time I answered first posts only. Lessons learned.
Received skulls from all over. Great skulls from Kansas, North Dakota, Louisiana, New York, Alaska, Maryland and I think Ohio. There was some great packaging and some a bit off. The mink I received were one of the best packages. Super good and the seller added a bunch of penis bones for free, great guy.
I would buy again from all the sellers I had this season
Selling your skulls can be a plus to bottom line. There are a few things to think about when saving skulls to sell. Never hit any part of the head when dispatching. Check the teeth while fresh for broken or chewed down teeth. I don't mind teeth that are broken a little and show they have aged because of the wear. Teeth that are broken due to trap chewing are not wanted. T
I will buy a few young like kit beaver and 2 year Olds, really youg bobcat or badger but they will be be priced a lot lower then adults.
I just finished cleaning a few coyote skull a recently got from south east Oregon and found one of the most interesting coyote skulls I have ever done. Putured below is one bottom jaw that makes this skull have character.
I am pretty sure what cause it to look like it does. Open for guesses though.
