That one whooped my tail today. 13 frames of brood comb and I got baptized in honey. They were not nice bees either, my hands and wrists are swollen which is rare for me.

I'm guessing you didn't wear a kilt today.

There's a lot easier ways to get bees than that. A lot of hot work, that overhead works kills me.

True, but I've yet to find an easy way to get money. I wouldn't touch a cutout without getting paid. I bumped prices well into four figures this year.

Already have these bees sold to boot.

Wow, four figures is more than I would have anticipated for the cost! I understand charging for services rendered though. Beekeeping is hot, sweaty, and occasionally painful work. I've never done any cutouts. Just garden variety backyard beekeeping. Does your fee include repairs or just demo and removal?

Demo and Removal though with that one I was able to make clean cuts on the joists so I'll put it back and caulk it up so it'll be ready for the painter.
I try my best to not make things worse on the client.

I do not blame you for setting that price at all. I have got to the point if they call I just tell them that I have all the bees I need. In my state you can not charge for removing them with out a pest control license, So it is not worth messing with

Georgia recently shoehorned in a license requirement that is patently unconstitutional based on a a similar case out of California. I refuse to get it and am daring our Dept of Ag to try to enforce it as I have the same bunch of lawyers that won the California case on stand by. But out Dept won't enforce it because they know they will lose. And I can't sue to get an injunction unless I'm actually harmed, arrested or fined, by it.

BTW, the California case involved one of us trappers, a NWCO, and involved putting up bird spikes for pigeons.
