George Kortum is the owner. Has been for many, many years. I’ve never been to the store but they are actively in business, buying and selling fur.

George is on the road a lot but his employees do a good job of running the business.

Why do you ask??

If you do go remember there is a dress code. Tight shorts and cowboy boots.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I’ve never been there but the way George talks, there is fur everywhere. Plus traps and who knows what else.

Have fun. Post some pics if you can.

It's definitely worth the detour if your cruising i90 through Montana. Really cool old building with a ridiculous amount of fur and neat antiques. Make sure to go upstairs and check out the stash of fur and stuff up their too.

Make sure you buy something and help support the fur industry.Take cash and maybe you can negotiate a little.

I spent a couple days there in February. George and his employees were very hospitable. Tons of finished fur and antiques. Buffalo hides as well.
