I've noticed this for at least 10 years now , that the vast majority of cars are now Black , White or Gray/Silver. I'm guilty too , one car gray , second car black. I bought used , so choices were limited. I always thought this was more of people changing tastes but no , I was wrong.
We are being fed these choices by the manafactuers to make them more money. Interesting video that explains it. 14:46 long.

I wanted either white or gray, Those colors showed less dust than black. I drive a fair amount of county gravel roads around here. Generally those three colors hold better resale value too. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

All our units at work we’re always yellow. For the past 10 years or so the replacements are white, the way they come out of the plant. No need to repaint. Boss put in an order for my new 1 ton a few months ago. My 2017 F350s got 260000km, new one should be here in a year or 2. Hope it’s another Ford.

I’ll have to get another white one if I want my critters to recognize me. Been driving the same truck for 22 years now. I’ve never called from the truck or shot from the truck and I’ll have turkeys gobble at my truck and deer walk close enough I could pet them. When they see the same vehicle over 300+ days a year, they become accustomed to it.
I don’t think it’s a conspiracy. They looked at what’s sold the most and adjusted accordingly. If the majority came in wanting a black, white, or gray car then make more of those. I know we’ve gone in for the wife’s vehicle and wanted white, but had to wait for one to come in because she didn’t want the colored cars at the time.

My son had a red truck at one time and even though he’d park sometimes half a mile away, the turkeys would give him the silent treatment and during archery season deer would blow at his truck. I joked and told him if he wanted to kill something he better take mine. He did and did. He now has a white truck, lol.
