I would say no. Cats kill them but won’t eat them. I’ve raised 2 weasels from babies and they hated moles. They would in a cage try and avoid them but then finally would rush in and kill them with one bite to base of skull then jump back rubbing their face and never go near them again.

I agree, cats won't eat them, gotta be something off about their taste. Would make a great bait to test, but I'm betting it will not be popular.

I was always told they were poison, not sure if that is actually true, but while I've seen lots of them killed by cats, dogs, etc. I've never seen one eaten by anything, including scavenger birds.

Ive been using mole as a base for a bait ive been working on for a couple years now…ive caught multiple coyote, fox , and bobcat on it and its caught when “commercial” baits wouldnt.

Might be a species of mole thing. I think in Oregon we have the Townsend mole, and I can tell you that NOTHING eats those things! I've never returned to a place in the field and a mole be missing, they always stay put right where I left them.
I think it is something to do with their saliva, as it is supposed to paralyze their prey.
