Fence and mulch apple trees, get the boat rack finished for the trip to Canada, see if the boat is still tied to the dock, plant the garden, mow the lawn if it ever stops raining, chase women, drink beer and nap. That should pretty much take up the weekend.

Looks like I’m grilling this afternoon after I finish my chores

Oh yum! I’m a little jealous. We are having hamburgers and hot dogs tonight but I have a butterflied leg of lamb for the grill tomorrow!!!

I changed the fuel filter and the fuel separator canister on my boat, planted a little more of my garden, replaced the adjuster brackets on top drawer of my dishwasher, built a couple small cedar tables for the chairs around our fire pit, and then ran up to Omaha to buy some new furniture for our sons first apartment.
Tomorrow taking the boat out to do a little fishing. Even fired up the blackstone early this AM and made pancakes and bacon for the family.
Been a good weekend so far.

Had my mother and step-dad over yesterday for a little BBQ and today worked on the garden all day.

Back to work tomorrow for me.

More chores today and at 3pm stop for a minute and remember my family that served our country some made it home some didn’t God Bless our Troops past present and future

Just got back from visiting a cousins grave he was Kia in Vietnam in 68

Just got home from the graveside memorial service for a Revolutionary War veteran buried in Brookfield, WI.
Was part of an honor salute of reeneactors.
