Yes, we will be making our own sausage, first up is roasted garlic kielbasa, mixed bear and pork. Then some summer sausage and pepper sticks.

Congratulations on your bear harvest ! Here in VT they just passed a law that makes it illegal to sell any bear parts. The law goes into effect July 1 2024 . I used to always collect the bear gal and sell it. The last one I sold in 2019 it weighed 24 tare and I was payed $164 . Do you sell the gals or is that illegal in your state?

In Oregon we are not allowed to sell any part of game animals. It’s been that way as long as I remember.
Game animals include deer ,elk, bear, cougar, sheep, goat, pronghorn. I may have missed one?
