Need some help/advice. My son raises Bob White quail and from time to time several off his quail die off.

Would freezing the dead quail whole until I get a fair amount make for a good base for a predator bait. I was considering doing this but don’t know if it’s a good idea or not. My plan was to grind the whole birds after thawing and preserving it with SB and glycerine.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and what other additives would be good if the quail for a base meat can be used.

Thanks in advance!

Freezing until you decide what to do with something is usually a good option. You've got a pretty good sized grinder if you can run quail through it whole.
