MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 10,229 Northern Illinois	It'll work but you might want to add some weight...window weight, railroad tie plate etc,,, I used HEAVY straight link chain,,,#7 size stuff and bigger.

beartooth trapr trapper B Joined: May 2011 Posts: 8,143 Montana	I have never used the twin loop chain, always just single loop. So don't know, I run 5'-8' of chain on long springs for beaver. Staked on dry ground, works good. But would think twin-loop chain should do good also. Let me sugar coat this

MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 10,229 Northern Illinois	After using the Blake and Lamb 44s, Duke and Bridger 5s I found that extra swivels reduced chain wrapping issues substantially. Beaver are spinning torpedos when caught, they will wrap the chain around the trap and springs in a heart beat...which can cause loss. Take your chain and wrap it around the trap once and see here your swivels are...then add one there then wrap it again add another....it pays off. Trap swivels are cheap....

X2 Extra swivels whether drowning or dry land trapping for beaver TILL THAT DAY.....
