So there was no food at the WNTA and on the way home I took the first exit instead of the second and ended up finding this.

Los Potrillos Mexican restaurante Bliss Idaho. It was packed and very busy with takeout.Just goes to show you even in the remote out of the way places if the food is good people will find it.Notice the color and texture of the salsa. That was what was first served to me when I was seated.I knew I was in for a good meal.

My impression of the meet was there was lots of varity for new and used supplies. The crowd was lite compared to the last time a few years ago.Lot of good demos if you like that type of stuff.I was disappointed there was no food or beverage to buy.Saw some nice tanned beaver tails which I forgot to take a picture of.

Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like a nice event - too bad more people didn’t show up. The ITA puts on great events.

But no food or beverages???? What the………! Seems like somebody didn’t plan very well. Or it was a conspiracy with the local restaurants.

I hope some one from ITA gets on here and explains what happened.

Should have been food every day - including set up day on Thursday. Even if it is a trappers wife serving PB&J sandwiches and cans of soda pop!!

I had two vendors lined up and they bailed on me with no notice. I'm in charge so its still on me though. I had my in laws drive over and make food on Saturday. Advantages of being in a small town was building was 1/3 of the cost but probably never doing western in Glenns Ferry again. It will be in Blackfoot, Twin Falls or Boise area.

Thanks for all you do to put these together Rusty. Was there Friday and enjoyed the demo’s and being able to pick up a few supplies.

I believe I went to one of these around 1997 or 1998 somewhere around Salmon. Good people and a good time. It was a nice change of pace for a MN kid.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Yeah it was a bummer them folks committed then bailed last second. But it dang sure worked out. Folks made some lunch runs the whole 1/2 to 1 mile into town and we all ate like kings. Bill Duke brought me back this dang fine French dip. I was very impressed. For that town it was great. Food wasn’t a hassle and in my book a 5 star. Rusty’s wife’s parents came in and hammered out a great service the next day. Breakfast burritos were dang fine. Lunch burger and fries then that dinner was sweet, especially that home made from scratch baby red tater salad. The attendance is a hard one especially on an election year. Seems as if all attendance has been down at May events across the nation. I’m thankful for the ones who came and supported and I’m thankful to have had a booth there.

Yeah just a guess. Work is slower lots of stuff is. Tighter wallets… one of the 5 sports shows we did this year ( our biggest one… 20k folks ) only did half of what it did last year. Just how it goes I guess.
