Rain gauge shows 3.5 inches of rain from last night. Bugs will be happy.

I'd rather lots of rain than very little rain.
We've had 3 dry years and finally this year has been nice and wet. More rain for today, tomorrow and some on the following day too.
I'm happy with it.

Skeeters haven't been an issue around the house, we'll see if this year is any different, I don't think it will be.

We need the rain to bring our lakes and rivers up. One lake I usually fish, the landing was almost completely dried up last year.

Wife: That's the 4th time you've gone back for dessert, doesn't that embarrass you? Me: No, I keep telling them it's for you.

We've gotten over 3" in the past few days. Along with the rain we've gotten earlier this spring has gotten our water levels back up to where they should be again. Farmers got into the fields a month earlier this year are now beginning to worry about finishing up in the fields due to all the rain lately.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

We are getting relatively small amounts of rain every other to every few days or so. Just enough rain to prevent us from cutting and baling hay. I still have to keep watering my gardens.
