We have had fireflies out flashing for about 3 weeks. Their numbers are small right now. If their population is going to expand, like it usually does, it should be anytime now.

They are putting on some good light shows at my place. I sit in a chair at dusk, and watch the show, while being serenaded by numerous whippoorwills!

I got up about 2 PM this morning and they were putting on a good show here in the U.P. of Michigan.

They’ve been down here for a couple months now.

Went out on lake Erie last night and as I past an island on the crick I was lauching from it was lit up like the forth of July with lighting bugs
