I found a young deer covered in sticks and grass with big cat tracks in the snow 20 some years ago. That spring about 50 miles away a lion got hit by a car on I70. I think it was the same one. Never seen one here and thats the only sign I ever found. Very scarce in KS. I have my doubts that kittens are born here.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

As Danmy stated. I've yet to see one or sign of one and I'm always looking.

I’ve come across 3 so far out in the Black Hills one thing that’s intimidating is they move at their own pace. I had one cross the road in front of me then go up on a berm and it stood there and watched me drive by at 25 yards it gets your attention.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I do believe about 20 years ago the State did confirm a mother raising kittens out around Pratt or Medicine Lodge. Friend of mine got a trail cam pic of one about 8 miles from my house about a year ago that was confirmed by the state. It was a very mature looking cat

About four or five years ago, some young guys were coon hunting south of me about thirty miles. They got to the dogs, shined the tree, and there sat a lion. They called the game warden, and ask if they could kill it. Of course, he said no. Told them yo get their dogs and hunt elsewhere! That was at Paxico, on mill creek by I-70.

Everyone sees one but me! lol
