I went in to BWA in the early 90's for a week, ended up at Crooked lake on Friday bay. Nice country, hopefully you don't have the bears in camp we dealt with.

Sounds like a good time 330.June here is good fishing but the worst time for bugs.Same there? The oldtimers said when the bugs bite the fish bite.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Spent many weeks there years ago. Four of us would go in for a week or more twice a year for about fifteen years straight. Would love to head back in, but don’t know my old legs could get to where we used to spend our time.. the further in ya go the better, we would set up camp on a couple lakes that kept out the granolas as we called them back then.

That sounds like a grand adventure 330. Take many pictures so we can come along too. Probably have to wait till you get out but all the same time me.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Closed? I think Dorthy died around 20 years ago. There are way too many people in the BW so I am headed to Northern Ontario in a week. I am sure there won't be any bugs up there.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Be a great place for a small bar I dropped off a paddle in the 70's That was the thing to do back then. Bottle deposit was about the same as a rootbear 10 cent and 5... We bent one canoe into a u shape and duck taped the leaks in another. I remember them two padding in circles. We did a long trip If I recall there was a lodge in there someplace,,? And a cool waterfall with concrete so the spillway was the only way over I remember the black fly under the canoe on a postage bitting the out of me And a girl named Jill....
