With the average age here 50+ I’m certain there are some memorable words of wisdom you received from your Father.

From my Dad…..”Everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt.”

“If you think things are bad for you, look around, it won’t take long to find someone that has it worse.”

“You can’t pick up anything new carrying around the old.”

There are plenty more I have heard over the years but these are some I remember hearing from the time I could start listening to him to this day. lol

Whenever I did something stupid— which was often— my dad would always say “ well, did you learn anything”
Sometimes he would patch me up first before he said though……

"Never bet against a man at his own game"

“all you have to do is think”!!!!!, “Son, you’re in my light”. Best man I have ever met.

You broke it. You fix it. Figure it out.

teach your kids to swim.

take your kids fishing.

show your kids hard work , by example.

be involved in their activities.

get there early to help setup ,stay till the activity or event is cleaned up.

make them earn a peice of what they want.

spend all the time you can with them from 0-18, cause man they grow up so fast.
Take them hunting , fishing , trapping , work on cars with them , take them to the range , try and make sure they understand the why behind the way you do those things.

tomorrow is no guarantee.

It smells like a half opened can of smashed a holes in here...

If you get up from the table hungry its your own d fault...

It raining like pouring p out of a boot.

Never go to sleep without your car keys and wallet within reach.

the police say hand up , you weren't doing anything wrong , don't argue put your hand up and live to prove them wrong.

you may have the right away at an intersection there might me 5 signs stating you do , but the rule of gross tonnage always wins the day no matter how wrong it is .
