One baler down. The other one is still chugging along with a older retired lady running it. She consistently out bale's the men day after day. Her secret is that she doesn't go as fast. The guys think they need to go fast a to cover a lot of ground. But they have far more breakdowns and plug ups because of it.

If we bale 1000 bale's in a day, she consistently bale's 650 to 700 of them.

Saw the same in he mine. The run as hard as you can at the end of the day when was totaled the slower steady folks would smoke them.

Some individuals use statistics as a drunk man uses lamp-posts — for support rather than for illumination.

Our biggest day ever was 1609 bales. 54 inch baleage bales all baled gathered and in-line wrapped in one day. It was quite a feat. That day there were 3 balers running.

I do all the loading of the trucks in the field. We just got done tonight about 1 am. Did about 600 today, none for tomorrow but should be back at it Monday. Gotta keep these cows fed.

Ever notice that hay equipment only breaks down when you need it the most and the rain is coming?
Sits around depreciating the other 10 months a year.
Made to break. If they were used every week of the year, we would need to buy a new one every year. Kind of like China crap, except not made in China.

The only breakdowns I ever get are the speed sensors or something going to garbage. On the old Vermeers it was just changing bearings all the time
