Anybody wear one? I would like to get one if I could find one that's waterproof. I've had a couple cheap ones that got wet and became junk real quick. Analog. Can't do digital.

Auctions are a good place to look for good quality older pocket watches. In a well advertised, speciality auction, pocket watches sell high, but in estate auctions with just one to a few, pockets watches sell cheap.

You can still get springs and replacement gears pretty easily. One of my friends, collects and repairs old pocket watches. He's an engineer at WPAFB and enjoys fixing or building stuff in his free time. He will completely take an old pocket watch apart, when he cleans and repairs one. There is a multitude of very small parts.

I used to use one years ago, they were cheap ones but lasted pretty well till you pick up a tote of fish and it bangs into the watch in a watch pocket

Don’t wear it but I have my maternal grandpa’s pocket watch came from Austria with him in 1899 and still works , he was 16 at the time

A gold pocket watch can be very valuable.
When I was a kid I remember my father traded my grandfathers gold pocket watch for a new gold rolex oyster chronometer.
I still have the rolex.

Used to carry one , then the pocket cell phone came around and seen no use for a watch
