I have about a pound of ground meat that I just finished aging. What additives do you recommend?
I will be using it mainly in dirt holes for red fox and cats

sun rendered trout oil would be a great start. If you have time, go back through the past pages of this forum, then go down to the achieve. You'll find more information than you can handle- but as always, there's a pile of people here willing to help out. What kind of ground meat do you have? Beef, pork, venison, beaver?

I have no clue what kind of fish you have down there. Up here fish with big gobs of fat in the abdomen are good. The fat will self render into oil. Government tests here using synthetic fatty acid rated very high. No idea where to get SFA but good fish oil sure works. Coyotes and a lot of domestic dogs like to pee on their food. I like to kick coyote bait up by adding coyote pee to it. Good coyote pee is as scarce as good fish oil.

I get FAS (fatty acid scent) from the ahpis depot in Pocatello. They have other compounds as well.
