I may have gotten it already in a coon set cage trap on my mix of dog food , corn , fish oil and little smoke house.

I had thought woodchucks wouldn't be too interested in the coon bait but it ate all of it from what I could see it was still fairly dark and I was checking fast trying to beat the rain. I was pulling out just as it started raining.

but if the one woodchuck that she complained about turns out to be that she only ever saw one at a time.

do you have preferred wood chuck baits for cage traps and or foot hold sets

Hey, Pete. A few years back,we had a woodchuck that tunneled down near Zim's garden and came up right in the middle of it. He was enjoying a smorgasbord of veggies and berries and probably some melons too. Zim said he was going to set a cage trap in there and get him. I questioned what he would use for bait to get the woodchuck when there were already had so many treats around him. Zim just smiled and said "Oh, I'll get him."

Zim set a cage trap with apple slices with peanut butter and got him the first day. The woodchuck didn't stand a chance. He could not resist! laugh

Bananas and banana peels work great for trapping and feeding groundhogs.

If you have it's den, you don't need bait.

Cage in front of hole and block the sides. It either digs a new hole or gets caught.
