Cubs managed one game of the 4 game series vs. the lowly Reds. I suppose Philly had to throw that second game to make it look good for fans of both teams from over the pond.

Cleveland has the 3rd lowest salaies for team players in the Majors. 28th out of 30 at 93 million. They are getting a lot of wins and playing well. The mets salaries are 305million or 3.25 times higher. Yankees, Dodgers and Phillies are doing the best out of the highest salaried teams, several other high salary teams are not doing very well.
