Just spoke to a lady in the county north of me that had booboo wander through her yard. She was calling to ask if something needs to be done. Had to tell her that I can't touch them but did give her the run down on things to do or not do to help keep them from hanging around.

Getting to be a regular thing.

Y’all got a season up there don’t ya? I don’t know where you are exactly but I just thought the North had a season. Pretty sure there’s a season over near Swamps or a little East of there.

Nope. Nearest is that three day(?) season in Macon/Bibb. Between there and the mountains no season, besides the counties north of me are all bow only. Well, Henry ain't but it won't be long before it is. And the metro municipalities are trying to prohibit bow hunting.

I'm in the map dot called Sunny Side. Two miles south of Hampton/Atlanta Motor Speedway and four miles north of Griffin.

Even in MN we are getting more and more. The DNR doesn’t think so but I sure have been seeing a lot of them. I go up north of thief river every couple of weeks and you see them on a regular basis.

That lady needs to make a donation to the nearest church and have them convert him. She is more likely to be hurt by a guy than the bear but if he does eat her at least maybe he will say grace first if the conversion took.

Bears on the move now as the bear rut is about to peak.

I'm in Echols County. 12 days in later Sept and early Oct.....hounds allowed.
