Well y'all got hitched today. Talk about one of the most stressful friggen things ...me and her are both just mentally fried after all this ....... but she got it exactly how she wanted it , I didn't pass out or puke good time....was kinda awkward because I knew her side more then my side ( like seriously I had people from my side of the family walking up and talking and I'm just here like "who are you ?" And look a lil upset when I new everyone on her family's side) but yeah.
O and we kept under HER $1500 budget (minus the 3k dress lol) so
Would post pictures but seems like the photographer is the only one who got some good ones...all the others are......yeaaahhh ..look even more like a 12yr then usual

Side note, how long did it take y'all to get used to wearing your wedding bands ? Thing feels weird as all get out and I've caught myself from flicking it off a few times.... Thinking the silicon one will be better but idk,gonna take some getting used to

It wasn't very long after I got married that, that wedding band just about got that finger ripped of. Had ahold of a concrete block and was sawing it when the blade grabbed and tried to pitch that block . My wedding band caught on the web of the block. When I went home that night I put it in the jewelry box where it still resides. Been married 47 years so I guess I'm safe not wearing it.

Congratulations wolfdog. I was thinking about you yesterday when out with my cousin on his new boat in the Chanel and his prop spun out with a barge heading our way.

Like k 52 my ring about got me killed working on a smoke stack and it was put in my ashtray in the truck after work and got lost some time after that. Never wore a ring again. Mine is in ink now.

Coon love on my wedding night after the reception we went straight to sleep. My wife and I did our entire wedding ourselves. Set up, center, pieces decorating, cooking everything. When it was over we were wiped out. It was ok though our daughter was already 2.

Congratulations, the first ring I had got lost in a ditch at work , the 2nd one is in the box in the drawer . I bought a pack of 6 of the silicone rings off Amazon for a little bit of nothing.

I picked out a thin band so it wouldn't be an issue. But I still had it catch a time or two coming down ladders. Tried a silicone one, that one got nasty so I went back to my original. By now it's pretty much imbedded on my finger. Only other issue I've had was once when dealing with some hot bees I took three or four stings on that finger and it got pretty tight for a day.

I wore my ring for the first week.

worked in a powdered metal plant on a continuous feed belt furnace. It almost got caught in the belt the first day back. I took it off and only wear it on special occasions. Been in a jewelry box since then. Wife must be ok with it as it's been 27 years now.

I know all to well the stress of doing the wedding yourself. We had to clean up the hall that night. Then get up at 4:30 a.m. to catch a flight. I never slept as good as I did on the 2.5 hr flight from Pittsburgh to Houston. I hit the seat and was out. I only woke up when the plane bounced during landing.

As for getting acclimated to wearing a ring, mills didn't allow rings, ect. A safety issue, so it stayed in the box most of the time; got to the point it was never worn.

I had to hacksaw my ring off after it was becoming embedded, never replaced it, my brides ring is in a box somewhere. .I know I'm married, she knows she's married, it's all good
