Congratulations , never did wear a ring, heard too many horror stories about guys getting them snagged and being around lathes and other machines I just didn't want to risk it. Always knew I was married didn't really need a ring to remind me

Congratulations. Never wore mine. Told her I won't. I was doing TV work at the time and sweaty hands and electricity are bad enough without adding a ring. Old style tube TVs.

As for the vinyl bands. Have had 2 of those. They shrink and harden over time and you will want to replace them (lasts about 2 years or so), but they are safer to wear....if you do things that might catch the ring and tear your finger off.

congratulations! I worked at some places that wouldn't allow rings on the job. Lots of guys put them on their vehicle key rings.

Congratulations to you, and condolences to your bride, Wolfie. My ring story happened about 6 weeks after putting it on. Working on a tractor starter when it shorted across the solenoid(sp) posts. Instant blister and when I pulled it off, the blister came with it.
