Anyone headed out our way to hunt? Draw results out his morning for R- elk , deer and antelope, NR deer and antelope.

No LQ elk for us but did draw a whitetail tag. No antelope for either of us. General deer for mule deer and general elk for both of us. Thankfully we can buy a bunch of unlimited cow elk tags and hunt those starting in Late Aug or early Sept.

Nothing yet sitting at 5 points for elk and deer so soon

Just points for me this year. Someday we’ll bite the bullet and try WY but we’re headed out to CO again this year with the smoke poles. When I decide to try WY elk I’d really like to have it be a year I could go out and try with the bow, and if unsuccessful head out with the rifle later. I know they’d be very different hunts but that’s what I’m thinking. Things are changing so fast out west as far as seasons, prices, availability, etc that it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens……but it ain’t getting better that’s for sure. Happy trapping! My son and I got drawn for archery antelope in 29. Any suggestions for a place to stay near Douglas that's NOT $300 per night???

Drew a NR elk, W General. Will be hunting in griz country so will practice with my 10mm as much or more than rifle. I don't really get out of practice with the rifle but do "freshen up" for a hunt.

No luck here with the moose drawing as well.Maybe next year.

I drew a 10-6 cow tag. Try till kill a cow. Pretty excited!!

Looks like tags tightening up even more in lots of areas...

I don't know about the rest of the state, but I was driving home this weekend from SoCal.
Went up through Wyoming along I 80 and spent the night in Laramie.
Heading east Saturday morning I saw alot of antelope heading east.
Numerous fawns and quite a few decent horns.
I hope this bodes well for the rest of the state, and those that draw tags are successful.
It's been 30 years since I pulled a trigger on a speed goat...I need to change that.

Look into Wheatland.

160 there were significantly more apps in the Regular draw this year with the Special draw price increase. I think so outfitters did not think it would be so many more. Many though had their clients put in for the higher price draw.

Chukar you shove stopped in The Library for a beer and food, good folks there and Mitch makes great beer.

Lots of elk in area 10, should be a good hunt.
