All that MN / WI rain either goes north to the UP or dries up coming across the lake. It's just plain hot and muggy here, no real rain.

Not near that much but we are not dry.

What part of the state are you in ? I've been watching the weather up there and it seems Minnesota is getting a lot of rain state wide. I'm leaving Friday and fishing in the Garrison area.

I think I can only count 5 days since the beginning of May

Ill take a little too much rain than what the last couple years have been. The river and creeks finally have water. Grass is gonna be really thick for pheasants this year. There were quite a few places that couldnt be pheasant hunted last year because grass was thin and short.

i have had about 2.5 inches in the last week. The sloughs are up from what they were a week ago. Water was not the issue with duck nesting last year, it was a lack of grass. I heard a lot of ducks did not even try to nest due to the lack of grass. The ducks nest and are starting to hatch now.

I can't speak for the ducks but from what I have seen here and in Ontario, this should be a banner year for grouse. They seem to be everywhere.

Glad you finally got some. Happy to send a bit more down there. 4"-5" in the past day. Hay is almost 4' tall in some fields and the farmers can't cut it. One neighbor was lucky enough to get his up and said he got more this first cutting than he usually gets in three! No shortage of hay this year!

We needed the moisture badly but this spring has been ridiculous.
