What do ya think?

I like my filson tin pants. There bulletproof for beating around the wet jungle brush here in the fall and winter. I cut and sewed up an old pair into chaps a couple years ago and they rock. Easy on and off, great for bird hunting.

I've had Filson's tin chaps for 20 plus years. They are great for working through thorns and tangles.

Easy on/off.
I hear Filsons are $100.00.
Fur prices are in the toilet.
And the pair of pants I bought at good will were $5.00

I used to wear Filson tin pants all the time hunting western Oregon. Then used them bird hunting in south eastern Oregon. They are great. Stand up in the corner, but hey they keep you dry for the most part. Most loggers I know wear them.

Just remember if you go the chaps route, they stop South of the boys. Careful when you get into waist deep stuff....

Just looked at their website. I've got the double tin chaps, and they are now $185.

We wear the Filson chaps and they are the absolute best at keeping you dry and scratch free. Plus they have a lifetime warranty.
