Had some people mention I should try putting this deal on something with some actual recoil and see if I get scopes due to the lack of eye relief. Since I don't shoot anything really big or heavy recoiling of a regular basis figured the .243 would do

Yep pretty painless all in all uses these lil.... Collets ? Collars ? Mounting whatever deals.juat gotta fin the one that fits to your scope good adjust it and screw it on. Works about like a hose clamp. And they don't really get in the way of anything so you can leave them on for regular scope use

And I just use on of these sling swivel stud to pic rail adapters deals for mounting my external IR light. Can swap over everything to a new rifle in always then 5min max
