Anybody got a real solution?

Spray with warrior of some agricultural insecticide and move them yearly but it’s a battle enjoy like I do

When we got them bad last year we used 7 and 7 dust in the evaning and then sprayed it off in the morning so it wouldn`t kill any bees.Worked great.

DE at the base of the plants. 8 dust on the plants.

I use liquid 7 at dusk then wash off at dawn

I’m trying de this year, Ive not tried it before,,, but Ive had it up to here over those blasted things.

We grow hundreds of pumpkins and squash every year. I use DE, it works well until it gets wet. I also like to put a few pieces of cardboard between the 36" rows and wet them down. I do this in the evening, in the morning I'll turn it over and use a weed torch to scorch the little buggers. At the end of the season, we pull up all the plants and do a controlled burn in the garden spot. I get some sort of satisfaction in hearing the little pest "pop" in the flames.
