Does anyone have any pre-made beaver boards willing to sell?

Plywood
I believe 36x48
Some kind of shipping cut offs.
3/8 to 3/4 thick. I like the thinner ones.

Is it just me or does that pattern look way to round. Beaver should be put up in an oval and not round. Might just be the angle of the picture. My boards as 32" x 48" and the standard pattern fits on them. If the picture above shows a 36" wide board, the pattern would be off the edges of my boards.

Cut your boards 32x48-you will get 3 boards per standard sheet of plywood.Mark both sides and you can stretch 6 beaver from 1 sheet of pkywood.
I dont like to go less than 5/8 since 1/2 inch boards will cup and the thinner boards dont last nearly as long as the thicker ones, even when using thin pinning nails to board your beaver.

If you can find poplar plywood, that is by far the best for beaver boards, nice and soft.Last longer than spruce.

The plywood comes 40x48 so it’s not full sheets.
It’s the NAFA pattern which is designed to get 3 pieces out of a 4x8 sheet.

When I do full sheets I cut out 3 and the last one I cut in half and make 2 half sized boards. Always figured it a waste putting a young beaver on a big board. And you catch enough young ones.
