Used S hooks to hang them but plan to add a couple of rows of 2" x 4" boards with nails to hang them on. Works good for dyeing or painting and when not in use, it is light and easy to move and can stay outside in the elements.

Here is what I just built last weekend. Going to try it out this weekend. Have used ladders and boards for a long time but had problems with them tipping over.

I just use old pallets that I'll lean against the garage or barn. Get a box of 2" screws and place them wherever you want. Cheap and effective.

As my drag chains are separate from my drags, connected by quick links, I use drag chains (10') linked together, strung between trees; using s hooks to hang the traps from.

I use cut up wire clothes hangers, and festoon my yard fence with them! Neighbor thinks it's funny.

Hern I did the same thing when I lived up the mountain and actually had trees around the house. Now that I live in town it's a different story.
Getting gear ready to clean up tomorrow so figured I would toss a picture up at it in use. [Linked Image]

Cleaning all my coils tomorrow then start working on the longs.

If you are asking me, I don't know. Depends on how many I wanted do that day. If I do a big batch, I hang more chain. I have lots of trees.

I have the good fortune to have a section of our sheep correl fence right next to where I lye, dye and wax and dip. The mesh is s5 foot high by 4 by 4 inches and makes a great place to hang several dozen traps.

Old hog panels. No picture. Just prop up near where the boiling/waxing is being done. When finished stored back in original, out of the way location.

Here is what I use. The key is to keep the center of gravity over the base. All made with 8 foot 2x4 boards and rows of screws. The cuts are all 60 degress. I have over 200 traps on it right now. I can hang 2 traps on each screw, one over the cross boards each direction. I disassemble the cross boards and store in my trapping shed in the off season. Doesnt take up much room. Been using it for over 10 years.
