Anyone how what condition the fairgrounds are in? Hate to be tent camping in a field of dirt/mud.

Make sure they shut off the sprinklers. 2 AM cold showers suck.

I wasn't planning on bringing 36" stakes for the tent. Haha

No air mattress grin done that last year, cots and mattress pads for Christine. Me, happy with just a bed roll;; but no turning down a bed.

The Big Sioux River (along the east side of the fairgrounds) is not expected to crest until Tuesday morning sometime, currently 3 ft over flood stage according to USGS. There is going to be a lot of cleanup!

The NTA is a bit over a month away. I’m betting everything will be ok. Plenty of time for the water to recede and the fairgrounds crew get things ready. You gotta think positive!!

I'd better shut this down in case someone says something the NTA doesn't like and gives a boot to that member.

I'd appreciate y'all not bringing up the NTA convention on here for this reason. Too bad they're this sensitive.
