Isn’t it funny how we don’t question harvesting a special colored furbearer like that, but a lot of people wouldn’t dream of taking an albino deer??

Fishercoon. Fur trade name for those really really dar coon. They are lotted separately in the FH catalog. Used to bring high prices. Not so much any more but still in demand by the crafters.

Many terms that are fur trade specific. You should see the list from before truth in labeling took effect.

Furriers were very good at covering up skunk, muskrat, etc. LOL
