Triplets almost always are problems. We have a small flock os say 15-20 ewes. This year we had 2 ewes that raised all three lambs. Two did not and we were able to orpan one but lost the other. We have found our ewes to be dedicated mothers over the years. If we have issues with poor mothering we cull those.

Agree ^^^^^ with Bryce.

It's a catch twenty two, always looking for higher lambing numbers, but with it comes more cases of neglected lambs. Some times you can orphan a lamb onto a yearling with only one lamb. For us, doing a 100 ewe dairy, all lambs where on a nipple bucket by two weeks; so it wasn't a issue, we had the facilities and milk replacer on the farm. Always calming to sit and feed a lamb in a birthing stall.

That little one looks like she is hungry.
