Any one got some good ole mixture of anything that may run it off? We have I suspect a big rat or bull snake in the chicken house. Wife saw it the other night. We have an old horse barn, the wife insists on keeping floor covered with wood shaving which in my mind should be cleaned out and left to bare dirt. The snake is up under the base plates. Lots of cover. For both mice and the darn snake.

I will go out and clean all that wood shavings and duff and get as clean possible. And see if I can identify where it’s at. Other than a 410 and lucky enough to roust him out is there any other advice you all have to get him going and gone… rodents have been missing as it’s summer but maybe he is doing his job keeping them out? I know it is getting eggs cause the production is way down..

Nothing but physical exclusion works. If it can find a way in it will.

Couple wire minnow traps, few eggs in each one. Add some straw or what ever you line your nesting box’s with. You will have him in a couple days. After that you can do what you want with him.

Live each day as if it were your last. We know not at which hour it will come. Life is too short.Tell your loved ones each day how much you love them
