Anyone run a small smoker craft. Looking at a 15 footer,$1750 for boat and trailer. About a 2004 model. Looks just right for medium lakes and rivers around here.

A friend has one. He likes it. Decent boat for the money.

I have a 14ft Smokercraft. It has a 20 hp Mercury motor. The boat is 1998 the motor is 1997. I have had no issues with the unit including the trailer. Bought new in 1998.

I have had a couple. They leaked out of the floor rivets with hardly any hours on the hull. Smoker Craft replaced the hull with another. That one was about the same in durability, quick fail, sold it quick before I could destroy it.

If I were in WV, I think both of those hulls would have lasted you fine.

Currently run a smokercraft 16ft big fish dlx with 30hp mercury outboard. I like the boat so far but can’t speak to durability as I’ve only had it for 3 seasons.

I bought a 16' Smoker Craft new in 2003 with an 80 Horse Yamaha fourstroke. It's been a good boat. But after a few years I paid the shipping to send it back to the factory because it was leaking around a few rivets (on warrantee). It has not leaked since. I'm taking it fishing in the morning. The Yamaha has been very reliable as well.
