Agree with this. But the need to be overly inclusive (whatever that word means) is pushed hard by Wall Street, the banks and some investors.

We had Orscheln stores in every decent size town around here.

Went from a dang fine store to the most overpriced, unorganized, joke of a business I’ve ever seen. I was done with them before all this woke deal. I did see that their stock price is way down. No surprise here. Everyone around here hates the place.
I hope they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

You see an overwhelming number of sports being dominated by blacks and other minorities. And why not? They have the skills and are hired for that reason. What I have a problem with is hiring practices, it should follow suit. A person should be hired on their skills, not their gender, color of skin, etc.

I have a nephew who, about 10 years ago went through peace officer training with aspirations of becoming a highway patrolman. He graduated about third in a class of around 70. Unfortunately, he was dropped way down on the hiring list because he was a white male with no military experience. He now works in a warehouse driving a fork lift.

Spot on Clay Creech. We had an Orschelns in our little town and it was a good store. Even had some trapping supplies. They were bought out by Tractor Supply. Now half of the store is dog food and they carry very little of what Orschelns had. I went in there awhile back just needing some electrical tape. They didn't have any. Our town could use a good farm store but Tractor Supply isn't it.

Stupid place is some kind of “urban farm store”. It’s a joke out here in real rural farm country.
I’m done with them. The woke crap just seals the deal.

I try not to shop there anyway, prices are high and vary from store to store. 5 gal of 80W-90 gear lube was $89.99 at one store , 16 miles down the road at another TSC it was $79.99.

We have a Runnings that opened up by me in Burlington, Wi.
They have a great assortment of products including a decent gun department, reloading and trapping supplies.
There whole outdoors department gives Fleet Farm some competition.
The TSC down the road can dry up and blow away.

Why not start up the country mercantile store?
Or just complain.

Bomgaars was a able to buy a few of the orschen stores, they are a decent store they sell firearms ammo and traps, wish they could have bought them all.
