That being said, how many really go there for serious business? TSC always can across as one of these yuppie outfits for upper middle class Karen and ken types larping as farmers with there backyard chickens and stuff.

Idk I'll go there to buy some stuff but anyone I know who's serious in the agriculture deal goes to a local co-op

I don't know that it matters here, there's NO other places to buy that stuff. Agway went to the country yuppies years ago and the feed mill is even more expensive since the duck farms are all closed.
I'll continue to shop at TSC. I no longer care what these companies do , if you do,your gonna have no place to spend your money...

It was a link on this post you had to click. I'm one of those backyard chicken folks that usually does most of their shopping at TSC. No, I doubt any big farmers do much business there, but there's a ton of rural folks who go there for everything from feed for their dogs, poultry and small livestock to fencing needs, to even clothing and footwear. Do I spent 10's of thousands there, no. But I'd like to think my $4-500 a month adds up. If a thousand rural folks spend about the same there, that's $6 million a year and I promise that would make a difference in a rural store's bottom line.

Ah, idk don't go there I guess, all these corporations care about is money imo, whatever makes them the most and make them look good is what their gonna go with. Our local Orschlens -now-TSC also sucks. Fortunately there is also a local Bomggars that carries good stuff.

My heartburn with TS is that they took over Orshelns and immediately turned to crap.
The woke crap is just icing on the cake.
Used to be Orscheln was a 1 stop deal. Pickup basic parts, a bag of feed, tools, and a pair of carharts, all at a competitive price. I can buy the same items at much more reasonable prices, but may have to make 3 stops instead of 1.
These are county’s with 7 or 8 thousand people. No big towns close. Not lots of choices.
Orscheln served us super well for many decades. Nothing stays the same.
I’d bet some Benjamins that the local TS store will close up sooner than later.
Parking lot doesn’t have 1/4 of the vehicles in it that Orscheln had on a given day.

What everyone is missing is the who is the target customer for TSC? I doubt it's transgender social media influencer's! Same with bud light, you can be for whatever you want to be but if you model your business that mainly attracts rural christian customer's to mirror what Starbucks is doing don't get shocked when your customer base quits coming in your store. A tad bit of common sense goes a long way in running any type of business but that's out the window now with total moron's running everything!

Luckily we are getting a Rural King in the town over from me where i do most of my shopping, can buy what little i buy at TSC from there. Imagine several thousand more like me will just quietly find somewhere else to buy their dog food and crap as well. Now John Deere can start painting their tractor's hot pink to support the mentally ill non binary pronoun pronoun crowd as well, im sure the farmer's will support them on that.

Went to TSC before for chicken supplies the local feed supply store here started carrying the feed I use. Bomgaars here had #40 sacks so I went to the local feed store and Bomgaars is not cheap unless it’s on sale but they carry a wide verity of items.

I find it funny the usual “ I'm offended guy” is upset now because others are offended it must be exhausting being such a Karen.

PC was the start of being conditioned into wokeness when you could no longer say what you thought for fear of offending somebody even today if you speak your mind it’s walking a mine field. We have one here too. I really like the store. They seem to carry just about everything. I buy a lot of stuff there.

I never heard of Runnings until former Tman member PCR2 told me they put one in Wellsville, New York. It’s about a two hour round-trip drive from my Camp in North Central Pennsylvania.

I’ve been there a half a dozen times since they opened a couple of years ago. They are pretty well stocked with outdoor and farm stuff including trapping supplies.
