The pic shows a wolf that looks like a week old road kill, almost like you could skin it a wash the hide and sell it. What is crazy is it still had the the stomach contents and the round worm parasites. When thawed the round worm parasites came to life and reproduced asexually. Not sure about them playing with something like that no telling what could happen. I know they had found a baby Mammoth and when thawed it had live anthrax virus. Makes covid sound like puppy play and could be worse.

They find lots of frozen animals and some people.

There are large numbers of mammoths found frozen in the Russian permafrost. There are so many that the ivory is commercially harvested on a large scale by teams equipped with hot water pumps, to melt the tusks loose. You can even buy recovered mammoth meat online.

Some scientists want to clone mammoths and reintroduce them to help the environment.

That would be a trophy skull I have a friend in Bethel AK that found a mammoth tusk I think it was fossilized. I guess it shows up often and worth a lot of money.

After examining one of its teeth, the scientists believe the wolf was an adult male.
I would have thought they would have examined the other end to determine that it was a male.

We don't do that anymore, your still living in the Crocodile Dundee times. Now a days we identify male and female by watching which rest room they go to.

Reckon that would have been my first thought, but in today's world, you would be frown upon for 'miss-gendering' the remains.

Not anymore! anyone with confused pronouns can use which ever they wish! I had to go REAL bad at Wally World once, and the Men's was closed for maint, so I identified as someone about to whiz down my leg and used the ladies. I announced I was maintenance and had to come in. Nobody home. took care of biz, and when I came out the rent-a-cop gave me some crap, so I just told him like it was! LOL You can always use the "FAMILY" room if any.

BigBob lol, My wife has her story of going to the ladies room down at the Arch in your city. Womens had a line 50 yrs and the mens had virtually no line, but she held it, well mostly, lol.
