Like why lie?? They are some idiotic people I say. And they kill lots of animals at pounds gosh dang lies and scumbags is what I describe them

When my wife was in college at Emporia state a woman from Oregon showed up there. She was hired as some kind of fill in teacher. Was going around passing out flyers for a group she was calling SETA. Students for the ethical treatment of animals. So I called a friend of mine that was president of the Kansas Houndsman Assoc. We went to the meeting. Brought pictures. She gave a little speech including saying the graduate biology students were doing secret experiments that were torturing animals. Ron and I began talking about trapping and hound hunting. Refuting everything she was saying. She didn't like it much but most of the students responded positively to us. Next day I contacted a state biologist. An Alumni of Emporia State. Told him what she had said about the biology dept. He was close to the professor. They verified what I told him and MZ SETA was sent back to OR.
I have testified a couple times in front of our state legislature.
If you want to make a difference this is the kind of stuff you need to do.

Side story: Back in the late 80s/early 90s sometime I got the invite to a county humane society monthly meeting. The president of the chapter was interested in having the group learn what type of traps were "out there", what they looked like, and how they functioned. Why not.
As I was removing traps from the packbasket to the display table two women apparently became ill and had to leave the room. They didn't return while I was there.
The meeting went well, emotions were kept in check, and I left feeling like some progress might have been made, who knows. They did, however, make it clear to me that in their opinions, traps were cruel and inhumane.
It was the next summer, or summer after that, I got a phone call from one of the members explaining that she had a woodchuck problem in her barn and asked if Ii would "take care of it." On one condition. That I would not tell anyone what I was doing on her property.
I said that works, on one other condition. That I be able to come back and trap the drainage ditches on the property for mink, 'coon and muskrat in November. And my lips would be sealed.
The deal was struck and I trapped that property for many years afterwards.
And I kept those woodchucks in check too.

Funny deal is is more and more people are turning against peta . When they attacked Steve Irwin ( the crocodile hunter) they royaly messed up. Their basically turning into a meme now days .... Now that being said footloose Montana and others ....those are the ones you need to watch. And I gotta say the antis really have us beat on a large scale. They know how it manipulate and get people on there side and they keep updated.....mean while we still relay on that one video from the 80's most trappers / hunters don't wanna adapt to the chasing times and climates till it's too late , the antis constantly re do and reinvent them selves. that and the amount to trappers who don't understand how to operate online nowadays doesn't help

As I understand it: PETA went bust a bunch of years ago. Kirk and Ingrig, the leaders of the group, got caught stashing MILLIONS of dollars offshore for their retirements, and they couldn't give an address to ANY shelter they set up, ANYWHERE!!! All the freakazoid anti's got riled up and quit sending $, so they folded up and sold out to HSUS, who isn't much better.

Their president, Ingrid Newkirk once stated it was immoral to take honey from bees or milk from cows. I've never been a dairy farmer, but know if you never milked a cow, they can get different types of mammary infections.
More and more when I go anywhere I find myself keeping track of where the nearest rest room is.

O my yes I been working on a dairy farm for 8 months working at least 4 times a week and that is 100% true UT even hurts the cows to not get milked after 14 hours we milk every 12 hours and you van just tell they are like relieved after getting milked! It's like the have to urinate but they can't so we basically just milk it out. And sometimes the do get infected and we still milk it but give to the calfs (it looks like spoiled milk)

The odd time I get posts from those types of groups, I usually post a trolling comment. Like “beautiful spot for a snare on that wolf trail!” Then it lights up the comments but by that time it’s blocked from my profile…lol. Its when hunters post anti trapping garbage on outdoors forums…..that really grinds my gears and they’ll get a long winded education that’ll get alotta likes.
