Has anyone tried making their own lures?
I make spinner baits and spinners .
I also tie flies but they are very bad.
My wet flies float and the dry flies sink

Just finished a batch of 21 and14gram spinnerbaits

Good way to save money

Went fishing today. Got 7 catfish on worms.
Biggest was 17 inches

Do they get bigger in Australia?

These guys can go to about 45 inches

Did some more fishing at the same dam today, and got 7 yellow belly or golden perch ( their proper name is golden perch , but we all call them yellow belly) on crank baits. They were between 15 and 17 inches. They can get to 30 inches.

Got seven grayling and two lake trout this past week. I even got some phtarmigan!
