Wife decided today was the day for me to organize all my ammo she came home with 10 big see thru containers with lids she has now gone back to town to get 20 more i hope that’s enough lol

Reason #35 I live being a reloader wife moved in and stared organizing the house , got the the reloading room saying I really need to organize and consolidate more , started telling her how if stuff got mixed up wrong , big explosions guns go boom split ect , yeah she refuses to go anywhere near there unless im around

I was thinking reason #35.................to not have a WIFE. I don't like people digging in my stuff or knowing what I have. If they knew they may label me.

Meh she likes organized chaos,I like chaotic organization. It's nice though because I can let her get one of the five gal buckets of range brass I have and shell sit there and sort though organizing it for hours happy as can be .

I realized today going thru the ammo that I’ve got a lot that don’t have a gun to go with it so how’s time to buy some to fit the ammo lol

Heck I will buy ammo when it's a good price even if I don't have a gun for it. Never know when I I may find a new gun in that caliber or friend that may. If nothing else I could always sell or trade it. Guess it's the man version of it was on sale except for it tends to go up in value.

Tell the fire dept if it ever burns, step back and watch the show.

Ammo in a fire is just about like fire crackers if the explosion is not contained and directed.

This is one of the reasons I stick with a certain number of calibers. Can’t see having calibers I wouldn’t use much and have to buy ammo for. 5.56 and 7.62 are calibers I could find ammo for just about anywhere, even off the street. And definitely don’t want umpteen boxes of different ammo especially if I don’t even have a gun for it, lol.

There actually a semi decent market for old / hard to find ammo

Walmart had 16 gauge shells on Clearance about 20 years back. I believe I gave $4 each for 7 boxes. It was a screaming deal ! The Browning Sweet 16 I had to buy later to justify the purchase not so much !
