I would like to get a update report on the blueberry crop for this year. Would some info. on the best time to pick them in the UPPER MICHIGAN. Been up to Paradise a few years ago and picked some and they were big that year. We don't seem to have many in my area of the Lower this year. From Hillman, Michigan Thanks for any help Larry

Don't know about Michigan but was expecting good crop in N MN this year with all the rain. Instead the bushes look almost bare this year. Maybe too wet and cool when needing some warm weather to set berries?

Wild?! Bitter, tiny and seedy. Who would want those when you can have big plump juicy domestic ones? grin

I have yet to find domestic ones that even come close to comparing to the wild variety. I'll go with out if our wild crop is poor

My blueberry bushes are packed this year. And their farm. Been growing for about 12 years now.

I just installed one of those LP gas cannon to keep the Robins and Bluejays away. Plus the deer out of my small garden.

It goes off every 25-30 minutes. I shut it down at 10 o-clock PM. Back on in the AM.
