Look for some Amish people. I had them cut plane and form my boards and they were super cheap. And I ended up with some super nice boards.

I’d rather not. I don’t desire to fuel anyones extremist lifestyle

Anyone’s.

I use only wood on my predators. Primarily Otis Latham's & Top Lot, and I like Grawe's boards on my greys. I bought a dozen or so of Otis's coyote boards at Graham's Coyote Days a few years back, and a year or two later the yote market tanked. They do make for a great put up with that bottle nosed profile though. [Linked Image]

Mostly for Coon but has anyone cut a wire stretcher and added a wood skirt? I switched to all wood but have dozens of wire for coons. I've seen the stretcher modified but never seen the finished product come off the stretcher

Basswood is probably the softest wood to work with. Trees are fairly common in the northeast/midwest. Have no idea where anyone could purchase already dried and planed boards. But, it would be easy to work with if anyone wanted a project making their own stretchers.

I made some "split" stretchers for coyote from wire coon stretchers, cut the bottoms off, added 1x3's along the sides, and narrowed the nose..just tie the bottom at what width you want...

Basswood is my choice. No shortage of nice white Basswood in these woods.

Boco would probably need a permission slip from the King of England to work with it though !
