That's awesome, I thought when I caught 40 one year here thats was great, but peanuts to that, holy Moly!!!!

Buddy, not to put words in Coop’s mouth. But, he has told me when I joked about catching “only” 40 in a season… hey, you can only catch what you have time to catch or what is there to catch.

Coop is a great trapper, but an even better person. No shame in catching 40 reds. Great job on that.

It’s deer hunting, not deer passing.

Nice catch. In that same old-timer boat myself. Season 58 coming up. Only missed 2 completely that I can recall. I target cats now myself, and my incidental fox catch is a dozen or so greys, plus another 1/2 dozen kits for every one red. Not nearly plentiful in the mountainous high desert areas that I trap. Growing up in the northeast though, most seasons were nearly 50/50 reds vs. greys.

Lifelong NY trapper, now in the high desert of Nevada since '07. Fishing, hunting, trapping and on the lookout for Big Brother's black helicopters.
